Affordable STI Testing & Treatment
Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) are incredibly common in Georgia, and many STIs are treatable if diagnosed early by a medical professional. The Women’s Clinic of Atlanta offers comprehensive STI testing and treatments at an affordable cost.
What Our STI Testing Includes
No matter your STI diagnosis, the Women’s Clinic of Atlanta is here to support you. You can select one or more tests or choose a full panel screening. Our affordable tests screen for:
- Hepatitis B
- Hepatitis C
- HSV (Herpes) 1 & 2
Receiving the test results are free, but treatment fees do apply. If you test positive for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, Chlamydia, or Gonorrhea, we will schedule you a “Test of Cure” appointment one month after we prescribe medication. However, other types of STIs can’t be cured, and the only treatment option is symptom management. We can provide medical support for managing your STI symptoms and even offer advice on how to inform your past and present sexual partners.
It’s important to note that the Women’s Clinic of Atlanta doesn’t provide emergency services. If you are experiencing potentially life-threatening symptoms or illnesses such as pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, or fever, visit an emergency room immediately.
Presumptive STI Treatment For Sexual Assault Victims
The Women’s Clinic of Atlanta provides presumptive STI treatment for rape and sexual assault victims, which also includes assistance and guidance with our trained medical professionals.
Presumptive treatment includes an empiric antimicrobial regime (broad-spectrum treatment) for diseases including:
This treatment is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and is only applicable 6-14 days after the assault. At this time, our treatment does not include a rape kit.
All services are confidential as allowable by state law. Laboratory fees apply. Payment is due at time of service.
Additional costs will be incurred if the STI test results are positive & treatment, confirmatory testing, or test of cure is needed. The Women’s Clinic of Atlanta only provides STI treatment for patients who receive STI testing at the Women’s Clinic of Atlanta.
