Women’s Clinic of Atlanta offers Post-Abortion Assessments three to six weeks after a medical or surgical abortion has taken place to ensure optimal health for your future. Contact us today to schedule this appointment.
The most accurate way of knowing an abortion is complete is a negative urine pregnancy test and a return of your menstrual cycle.
Our post-abortion assessment may include:
- Urine pregnancy test
- hCG blood draw
- Hemoglobin and Hematocrit
- Ultrasound
- Mental health check
- Birth Control Discussion
The Nurse Practitioner will complete a sexual health screening to determine what services are necessary. Some of these services may not be applicable. If you have a post-abortion appointment scheduled with the abortion provider, please go to that appointment as well.
Post-Abortion Consultation
If you are struggling and feel as though you need to speak to someone before you are three to six weeks post abortive, please call and ask for a Post-Abortion Conversation with one of our trained team members.
This appointment will provide a safe space to relax and offer an empathetic listening ear to help you process any thoughts or feelings you might have.
